About the Campaign

Election Day Registration (EDR) is a straightforward, secure, and proven reform to increase voter turnout and strengthen our democracy by allowing eligible voters to register to vote and cast a ballot on Election Day.

To ensure EDR becomes law in Massachusetts, a coalition of nonpartisan, nonprofit groups that advocate for voting rights have formed the Yes 4 Election Day Registration ballot question committee. Members include Common Cause Massachusetts, League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, MassVOTE, Mass Voter Table, and the ACLU of Massachusetts. These groups have been leading the campaign for Election Day Registration in Massachusetts since 2008.
